Take Action

There are many steps you can take if you’re concerned about PFAS. Educate yourself, make PFAS-free choices, let companies know you want PFAS-free products and let your elected officials know you want a toxic-free environment!

Education Leads to Advocacy

  1. Learn more about PFAS to understand the health and environmental effects these chemicals have on your body, family, water, soil, and air. Visit our Educational Center to dive into some of our most-referenced resources.

  2. Make PFAS-free choices and see how some retailers score on toxicity.

  3. Ask brands, companies, and manufacturers if they use PFAS, PTFE (Teflon), or fluorinated chemicals in their products. Many will say they have phased out PFOA/PFOS, but that doesn’t mean they’re PFAS-free. With over 15,000 PFAS chemicals on the market, you want to make 100% certain that their products are completely PFAS-free or fluorine-free. If they’re not, it’s a great time to let them know you want PFAS-free products!
